I’m Amy; designer, systems thinker, and the person who asks, “what will the user actually do here?” I love taking scattered ideas and turning them into clear, functional design: brand identities, print pieces, and digital assets that guide people with ease.
I came into design the long way around—leading operations in home health taught me how much clarity matters. A single confusing form can derail someone’s day; a clear layout can give it back. That mindset now drives my work: simple, purposeful, and human.
I’m currently finishing my Graphic Design degree (graduating Dec 2026) and growing 8bit Bloom, where I partner with small businesses and startups on:
- Brand foundations (logos, color systems, type, voice)
- Marketing assets (posters, one-pagers, slide decks, social kits)
- Light UX tasks (information hierarchy, content clarity, user flows)
I’m detail-oriented (sometimes too detailed—still learning to simplify on purpose), collaborative, and honest about the process. My goal is always the same: make the experience obvious for the user and practical for the client.
Beyond design, I also help founders with operations and compliance templates, those services now live outside this portfolio so you can find what you came for: clean, effective design.
Currently: building my portfolio, taking on selective client projects, and polishing a few personal illustration pieces.
If you’re here to collaborate: I’d love to hear what you’re building and how design can make it easier.

Values & approach
- Clarity over cleverness. If users don’t “get it,” it isn’t done.
- Accessible by design. Readable type, contrast that works, content that makes sense.
- Less, but better. Edit the noise, leave what’s essential.
- Co-creation. I listen first, then build—no black-box design.
- Document the decisions and communicate. So teams can keep moving without me.
